Join the Carlow Mayo’s Canada Day festivities. Snow cones, games for kids, silent auction, BBQ, and fireworks! All proceeds to go towards funding Foster Lake Rink.

Centre Hastings
Wednesday, July 1st from 11:00am to dusk
Canada Day is a nationwide celebration and a long-standing tradition in Centre Hastings. Each year, the Municipality of Centre Hastings hosts one of the largest events of the year within the village of Madoc. The main event for Canada Day is hosted at Centre Hastings Park (24 Seymour Street, Madoc) but also throughout Centre Hastings.
Canada Day is supported by its residents, community members, service groups, and volunteers, making this one of the year's biggest celebrations! Canada Day has a variety of events that takes place throughout the day and evening! A wide variety of kid's games, live entertainment with face painting and balloon artists, live music, and end finally with fireworks on Moira Lake.
Mad Hatter will be tearing up the stage at the Madoc Arts Centre. The rock starts at 6:00pm and runs until 9:00pm! Bring a chair and get ready to rock!
Maple Leaf Picture: Be part of the big picture! There will be a gathering at 12:30pm in front of the Arts Centre to create a human maple leaf. Wear red and join the fun!

Deseronto
Wednesday, July 1st at dusk
Grab your family, friends, blankets and lawn chairs! Feel the community spirit and fun at dusk and enjoy a fantastic fireworks display on the Bay of Quinte presented by the Town of Deseronto.

Faraday
Wednesday, July 1st from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Carol Tinney Community Centre
Join the Friends of Faraday in celebrating Canada and 135 years of Faraday! There will be BBQ, games, colouring contests, fire department, bird house building, Shawashkong Ikwe Singers, vendors and more! Fun for everyone. Come on out and have a great day with your community.

Marmora and Lake
Wednesday, July 1st from 10:00am to 2:00pm
Join in Marmora and Lake's Canada Day festivities! The parade starts at 10:00am from the Marmora Fairgrounds. After the parade, a BBQ will be hosting by the Lions from 1100am to 2:00pm in Marmora Memorial Park. Special guests and entertainment with be the Marmora Lions Band with Ken Kovach, Sid Prescott, Doug Montgomery and Robin Millar.

Marmora Lions Foodbank Wagon will be in the parade so bring non-perishable items for the Marmora Helping Hands Food Bank!
