Dietary Aide - Temp. Part-Time - All Shifts - Weekend Worker

DUTIES
•Set up and serve meals as per posted menu
•Portion appropriate food items as per standard portion sizes and posted menu
•Follow and complete audit books
•Clean and sanitize work area
•Operate kitchen equipment
•Re-therm food items as per posted menu as required
•Other duties as Assigned
 

QUALIFICATIONS
•Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
•Ministry approved Food Service Worker Certificate or relevant food service experience in an institutional, health care, restaurant or hospitality setting
•Food Handler Certificate from Public Health Unit
•Knowledge of Food Premises Regulations made under the Public Health Act
•Must have demonstrated ability to
o Regularly and punctually attend work
o Perform with minimal supervision the daily routines developed for the Dietary Department
o Effectively communicate, with the residents, fellow employees and the general public
o Accurately follow written procedures and verbal instructions from Supervisory Staff
o Complete tasks as a team player to ensure cooperation and excellence in residents satisfaction
 

HOURS OF WORK: All Shifts – Weekend Worker x 3
 

WAGE RANGE: $24.57 (probationary rate)
                          $24.82 (after probationary period)
