The County of Hastings is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Part-time Enhanced Support Worker position at Frankford Public School.
               
DUTIES    
•    Work collaboratively with team members, using profession judgement to support the children and Educators in a childcare program.
•    Provide support to children with special needs to enable their participation in activities.
•    Promote inclusive interaction of all children in activities and develop and communicate strategies to ensure successful inclusion.
•    Maintain the confidentiality of all children and parents while reporting pertinent information to the program supervisor.
•    Maintain good working relationships with staff in order to share expertise and resources.
•    Other duties as may be required from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS
•    Completion of Grade 12 Diploma.
•    Experience working with children including those with special needs.
•    Knowledge of the resources, services and support for children with special needs.
•    Demonstrated knowledge of strategies to promote inclusive environments and curriculums in the child care environment
•    Must possess up to date First Aid and CPR certification.
•    Current immunizations are required.
•    Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector check are mandatory.
•    Diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field would be an asset

HOURS OF WORK:  Monday - Friday 2:15pm - 5:15pm 

RATE OF PAY:        $22.93/hour + 4% vacation per pay
